The Sustainable Jersey(TM) program will go live on this website on February 26, 2009.

Sustainable Jersey(TM) is a certification program for municipalities in New Jersey that want
to go green, control costs and save money, and take steps to sustain their quality of life.

Sustainable Jersey provides comprehensive "how to" guidance and resources that enable municipalities to complete actions to become a Sustainable Jersey Certified Community. The
how to guidance also includes information on funding opportunities and grants to assist local governments to implement specific actions.

This website currently includes a four page brochure on Sustainable Jersey, and a one
page flyer on the Sustainable Jersey Grants funded by Wal-Mart.

Check back on February 26, 2009, to explore the complete list of actions and step by step guidance. The application for the Sustainable Jersey Grant funded by Wal-Mart will also be
available here on February 26.
